April 26th, 2021 was this years first Super-moon which was also the Strawberry moon! And what a moon it was! I, being the big Scorpio that I am, was excited leading up to the full moon since it was in Scorpio as well. I was not expecting such a wave of dreams and shadow thoughts that came with it. (Although I probably should have known…)
We have settled into our summer seasonal job here on the Trinity River in the Northern California Alps. This place alone has this magical energy, and now having been here for our first full moon I can really feel the energy burst forth with the moon rays. As I chatted with our new neighbors and co-workers, it seems like everyone here had a bit more emotional feelings coming forth, and the most vivid of dreams, even those that don’t usually recall the dreamscape.
I tend to use full moons as a way to check in with my goals and re-assess what I might need to focus on by using a tarot spread. It’s a small ritual, but fast becoming one that I look forward to with every moon cycle. I’d love to hear what other people may do with the full moon, even if it’s just to step outside and take a deep breath under her rays.
